Mr. Johnston is a graduate of Bucknell University (B.A. 1998 with honors) and the George Washington University School of Law (J.D. 2001). He began his practice in the Washington, D.C., area representing medical malpractice plaintiffs and then transitioned into family law. Mr. Johnston has represented victims of the September 11, 2001, attacks through the Trial Lawyers Care pro bono program. He is licensed to practice law in North Carolina, Maryland, and Washington, D.C.
