Mr. Johnston is a graduate of Bucknell University (B.A. 1998 with honors) and the George Washington University School of Law (J.D. 2001). He began practicing in the Washington, DC-area representing medical malpractice plaintiffs and then made the transition to practicing family law.   Mr. Johnston has represented victims of the September 11, 2001 attacks through the Trial Lawyers Care pro bono program. He is licensed to practice law in North Carolina, Maryland, and Washington, DC.
