Ms. Hinkle focuses her practice in the areas of estate planning and administration, wills and trusts, business law, and the division of retirement benefits. She is a graduate of Duke University (B.S. cum laude) and the University of North Carolina School of Law (J.D. 1993 with high honors), where she served as Articles Editor of the North Carolina Law Review and was a member of the Order of the Coif. After clerking for The Honorable J. Dickson Phillips, Jr. on the United States Court of Appeals for the Fourth Circuit, Ms. Hinkle joined the firm in 1994. She is a member of the North Carolina Bar Association (Estate Planning and Fiduciary Law, Elder Law and Business Law sections) and of the Durham/Orange Estate Planning Council.
